Hi! I’m Danielle, owner of The Collective and I’m here to make you feel your brightest.

I cultivated The Collective from a desire to bridge the gap between inner and outer beauty: the skin + the soul. I got into the industry after being a self-conscious teenager who struggled with skin and self-image, so helping others to see their own beauty has become my passion. The Collective is exactly what it says— a collection of services, products and people meant to cater to both your skin and your soul to take you to the next level of wellness.

In my 10 years as an esthetician, I’ve experienced what feels like every kind of job structure there is: I worked at a corporate waxing center, moved to a privately-owned locally renowned salon + spa, owned my own studio suite and am now here in my first brick-and-mortar studio. I couldn’t be more excited to share this amazing space with the beautiful person reading this right now.

I’m a licensed esthetician in both New York and Florida, an Erie County licensed tattoo artist + piercer, 3x certified PMU artist and I hold certifications in brow lamination, lash lifting, and dermaplaning. I specialize in Brazilian waxing, but my book is sprinkled with a little of everything every day! I started my career at The Salon Professional Academy in Tonawanda, NY in 2013 and also earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication from The University at Buffalo.

Fun facts about me:

  • I’m the oldest of 9 kids and my husband is the second youngest of 8, so there are 17 kids in our families combined!

  • My first tattoos were technically the freckles I had to practice on myself.

  • I am terrified of outer space and the sky in general.

  • I chose my son’s name almost ten years before he was born and never changed my mind.

  • I have a dog and two cats: Nixie, Fitz and Remi. If you see some animal hair on me, mind your business.

  • I changed my major in college five times: Elementary Ed, History, Communication, Exercise Science and then finally back to Communication.

  • My comfort show is Gilmore Girls, I’ve watched it all the way through at least a dozen times.
